Tree of hope - moment of reflection

Crossfire Trust Director, Ian Bothwell led a team of volunteers in a moment of reflection at the Tree of Hope in Poet's Glen, Creggan, South Armagh.

The Tree of Hope was planted on 7th September 2007 in memory of those who lost their lives as a result of suicide in the South Armagh area.

The volunteers were mixture of local people and friends from England and the USA.

Ian said, "It is important to be proactive and not reactive. Crossfire wants to be there in the midst of people's disappointments that often leads to depression and avoid people slipping into self harm."
