Ministerial visit

Monday 19 December 2011 saw the visit of the Minister for Social Development, Mr Nelson McCausland MLA, to Crossfire Trust.

The minister was accompanied by The Mayor of Armagh City and District Council Freda Donnelly, Mr William Irwin MLA and Mr Ian Ervine from the Department of Social Development.

After meeting the residents and volunteers of Crossfire Trust Mr McCausland joined the Directors and staff and supporters of Crossfire Trust for round table discussions on issues impacting on the community and on the organisation.

The Minister listened to the historical concerns of Crossfire Trust on issues around funding, strategic relevance and support for the work undertaken in the community by Crossfire.

A presentation was made to the delegation of a Darkley House Christmas Hamper.
