Darkley group visit Stormont

Participants in the Singing Kettle Darkley Together Project were welcomed to Stormont recently by Newry & Armagh MLA Danny Kennedy.

The programme - part-funded by the European Union through the EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation and managed for the Special EU Programme Body by Armagh City and District Local Strategy Partnership - aims to develop Darkley as a village of potential and its people aware of their destiny, inner peace, respect and understanding of others' views.

The project has delivered Active Citizenship classes for young people. One the third night the group made the trip to Stormont buildings.
